Abigale's Birthday
One day, Abigale's mommy brought home a present.
What could it be? Abigale thought with excitement. The present was wrapped in beautiful pink paper with a huge yellow ribbon all around it.
It was the prettiest box Abigale had ever seen!
Then Abigale remembered! Today was her birthday! On her last birthday he mommy and daddy had given her a new dolly. But what was in the box this year?!
“Please can I open it Mommy?” Abigale begged.
“Not yet, you'll have to wait until after dinner” her mommy said with a smile.
All day long Abigale dreamed of what wonderful thinks could be in her present. She had always wanted a pony...but that wouldn't fit in a box that size.
Maybe it's a new doll house...but she already had a big one in her room so that couldn't be it.
Abigale just couldn't think of what in could be!
Dinner finally came and Abigale couldn't wait for it to be over. She even ate all of her peas!
“Now can I open my present?”
Smiling, Abigale's mommy brought out the beautiful [ink and yellow box and put it in front of her.
“Happy Birthday Honey!”
Abigale ripped open the present and found...a beautiful purple jewelry box.
“Open in up Abby!” her daddy said. Lifting the lid, Abigale screamed with joy.
“I love it!!! Thank you so much Mommy and Daddy!!”
Abigale pulled out a sparkling pink necklace, a matching bracelet, and a pretty pink ring.
What a great birthday! thought Abigale.
